Thoughts - Forget Me Not Media Blog

This journal highlights some of our latest work as filmmakers and photographers. In addition to weddings, we lead documentary productions across the globe. In absolutely everything that we do, love drives our work: A love of people, a love of this beautiful world we inhabit, and a love for unique story telling pushes us to grow in our craft. This work should speak for it’s self, and we hope it speaks to you as well! So, if you love what you see, don’t hesitate to connect with us!

How We Respond - Climate Change Documentary Stories & Solutions - Savannah, GA

I could not think of a better day than today to share this uplifting film from our recent documentary series on climate change. This film set in Savannah, GA focuses on sea level rise, and how scientists are breaking historical trends to directly interface with communities impacted by their work. More often than not, the impacts of climate change are most intensely felt by individuals in low income communities, but the Smart Sea Level Sensor Program seeks to empower those people most affected by sea level rise in Chatham County. Through the deployment of water level sensors on points throughout the county, this program can update in real time these communities on how quickly sea level is rising. Using this information, these communities can respond safely and intelligently to flooding situations. Everything about this program sought to connect the communities to their flood risk, and it is truly inspiring. As alway, enjoy the film, be inspired, and please go do something other than adding another hashtag to the online community! We need true leadership these days, true bravery of individuals confronting this very real but very solvable problem of climate change! Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day everyone! (As always a big thanks to the lady who lead this epic documentary series, Kika Tuff of Impact Media Lab! And to AAAS for bringing us all on board and having the vision for this uplifting series! And to the multiple sponsors who made it all possible, including but not limited to, The North Face, and Hunts Photo and Video!)
