About

What inspires our storytelling?

Our crew of cinematographers, photographers, and editors have over 12 years of experience telling stories professionally. We have worked with Academy Award winning documentary filmmakers, National Geographic photographers, Hollywood film producers, cinematographers, and actors, and the Sundance Institute. But most importantly for us, our crew has gained invaluable experience creatively collaborating with couples of all stripes over the past 8 years. We have traveled across the globe with our couples, and appreciate all the adventures we’ve shared together, but what keeps us inspired is the same regardless of where the celebration is held: a unique commitment to love. We believe each couple’s commitment to love has the power to make the world a better place, and the unique way each couple views this commitment informs our storytelling more than anything.

Our Core Crew

Our Approach

We take any opportunity to get to know our couples in-depth; what makes them click, come alive, and what keeps them grounded to their path together. What we learn impacts how we photograph or film each event and how we craft each story. Our express goal is to reflect the unique character of each couple, their community, their celebration, and their commitment. We’ll take risks to achieve this goal, and hopefully in the process we’ll help make the world a little better place along with our couples.

Our Ideal Couple

Anyone and everyone committed to love is our ideal couple. We value and support diversity in all aspects of life, and therefore we support LGBTQ+ weddings, and weddings of any religion, race, political affiliation, or class. It is crazy we would need to say this at this point in history, but we’re happy to make it known publicly!

Our Environmental Policy

We are inspired by nature, as it forms the moving backdrop to every film we have the opportunity to craft. Furthermore, it’s just our happy place! So we strive in all ways to offset our environmental footprint, from eating local, driving and renting EV’s, to powering our studio with solar power. Also, we often make end of year contributions to organizations working hard to combat climate change. Lastly, we donate our time to create films for organizations making a positive impact. Many of these can be seen through Impact Media Lab, but others are produced by our lead Matthew Talarico. Currently, Matthew is working on a feature doc about methane mitigation in abandoned mine sites outside of Paonia, Colorado and the Crystal River Valley.
